Directions

The Rendezvous site is located outside of Paisley off of Hwy 31, heading out of town on county Hwy 2-08, turning into NF-330 for approximately 15.7 miles (25 km). Then turn Left on NF-3510 for approximately 3.4 miles (5.2 km), then turning Left onto NF-357 for approximately 3.6 miles (5.8 km). Signs will be posted from the town of Paisley to the Rendezvous near the Chewaucan River.

NOTE: It is our official position that we do not recommend the roads coming in the back way from Lakeview, but instead highly recommend driving up to Paisley on Hwy 31 and then come in from the North. If you choose to navigate in on any other route, we hope you nothing but the best.

Water and Firewood


BE ADVISED
that there will be limited potable water, river water is considered non-potable. Use at your own risk. Firewood will not be provided, although some slash piles are available as well as felled trees.


Paisley is a city in Lake County, Oregon. It is located in the Northwest portion of the Great Basin, between Summer Lake and Lake Abert, and about 25 miles (40 km) North of Lakeview, on U.S. Route 395, on the edge of the Fremont-Winema National Forest. Early homesteaders moved into this area in the early 1800’s. Some of the oldest human remains in North America have been discovered in dry caves nearby.
